C64 tinkering

I know C. I don't know BASIC or 6502 assembly (yet). BASIC seems easier to learn than 6502 assembly (obviously).

So I checked if there was any way to compile a C program for the commodore 64 and there is!

There are two cross-compilers that I know of for my use-case: cc65 and oscar64.

For simple text programs such as the one in the alien directory, writing it in BASIC seems to be the best option so far as it is smaller in size, so it loads faster on the c64. Idk for bigger programs yet, need to know BASIC
